Using different files

Postby lazy » 26-Feb-2008 22:12

As I understand it, there is no way to use different todo files that mTasks by default uses only one. Any way around that?

Or better yet, have the ability to load different files.

I'd like to buy another copy to use on another computer but I sync with my existing notebook and so if the files are the same they will overwrite each other - not good.

Maybe a future release?

Thanks,

Support for multiple task files is on the wishlist and is being considered for myTasks 2. The main design issue is how it should "look" and operate to avoid confusing the user. I have some ideas, but more thought will be needed.

Support for synchronization of task files is being designed into myTasks 2, and some simple support may be added to myTasks 1.x based on the code used for the Palm conduit.

Any chance the ability to use different files is coming soon?

Thanks,

This is being considered for myTasks 2, which is all I can say at this time; I cannot confirm features or quote timescales, sorry.
